I know before I even start that I'm going to want to constantly change this. I'm always finding new "favorites," but right now...
- The Greatest Story Ever Told by Fulton Oursler - very beautifully written, thought provoking
- Two From Galilee by Marjorie Holmes - Mary and Joseph's sweet story
- The Bird's Christmas Carol by Kate Douglas Wiggin - this book from 1886 is a favorite from my girlhood
- The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans
- Who Is Coming To Our House? by Joseph Slate and Ashley Wolffe - the best board book for toddlers
- 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore - I have at least four versions and love them all
- Here Comes Santa Claus by Gene Autrey and Bruce Whatley - Rosie's favorite book this year, and the older kids loved/love it too.
- Bright Christmas: An Angel Remembers by Andrew Clemens and Kate Kiesler - a storybook that I love more than my children do
- The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey by Susan Wojciechowski and P.J. Lynch
- The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg - when I gave the girls Christmas bell necklaces on Sunday, Ethan said,"See, do you hear it? That means that you believe.."

Thanks for sharing your book list - I'm going to have to check some of these out. Last night Joe & I spent the night in working on our Christmas puzzle, listening to Christmas music and I read one of my many Christmas books aloud - it was great!! I get a Christmas book each year so I am getting quite a collection...I love them :)
Thanks for the book suggestions. I will have to check into some of these. Enjoyed reading some of your blog today.
Thank you for these great recommendations. I found your blog via Lindsey's, and it really is lovely. Blessings to you and your dear family.
I enjoyed seeing your book favorites--I will have to hit AMazon to check out some of the titles that I did not recognize. I am doing some of my Christmas favorites tomorrow for Thursday Thirteen.
Also, love your new picture-so cute!
I saw that Lindsey had recommended your blog so I thought I would check it out. :o)
I enjoyed reading this post...primarily because I haven't made an effort to look for Christmas books. Thank you for sharing!
Great list! Thanks for sharing!
