How does the evening news and other live news broadcasts work on the West Coast? Do they have to watch it early, or do they air the recording later? I've wondered about this more than once. Help me out here, so I can get smart. :^)
I checked a local listing out in California, and they are playing the debate at 7pm their time, so I guess it is safe to say they record it and play it later. :-)

When we were in MT, we watched everything, well most things, at a later time...the exception being the New Years' celebrations in Times Square.
